    • A proactive approach to capturing employee hours by sending an email notification to the employee to enter their timesheet. No login or password required for time entry.

    • Allows employees to enter hours from any phone by following easy to understand voice prompts.

    • Allows employees to fax time to PeopleNet. Fax approval also available.

PeopleNet’s offers a fast and easy process for employees to clock in and out utilizing the Pendo Time Clock. All punches are stored on the time clock until punches are transmitted to the PeopleNet hosted system on 30-second intervals, providing accurate and current punch information to the appropriate PeopleNet Workforce Management Console users.

The time clock communicates via a standard Ethernet connection and the Internet to PeopleNet’s communication server. All punches are “pushed” to PeopleNet using HTTP/HTTPS protocol. There is no polling of the clock; thus eliminating additional manual steps and security issues.

Pendo Time Clock Specifications


Memory size: 12MB RAM, 32 MB Flash
Dimensions: 7.5” wide x 10” high x 4” deep

Options include:

  • Integrated barcode reader, proximity card reader
  • Ethernet, wireless communication and cellular modem communication
  • Internal AC outlet
  • Backup battery


Installation


There are 3 different installation options available with the PeopleNet Pendo Time Clock:

Ethernet

  • Ethernet (RJ45) connection that allows access to the Internet.
  • Network Ports 80 and 443 (HTTP/HTTPS standard browser ports) must be open on your firewall to communicate with the PeopleNet Host System
  • Network Ports – UDP port 123
    (NTP – network time protocol) so that the time can be synchronized every 4 hours
  • Static IP address configuration, if used, IP Address, Gateway IP address and Subnet mask are required
  • Set to DHCP by default
 WIFI (802.11b)

  • Ethernet (RJ45) connection that allows access to the Internet. Wireless router required.
  • Network Ports 80 and 443 (HTTP/HTTPS standard browser ports) must be open on your firewall to communicate with the PeopleNet Host System

Wireless Broadband/Cellular Modem

  • Appropriate coverage from selected mobile carrier (i.e. Sprint, Verizon)
